I. Introduction to the Warranty

Rendyr, Inc. ("Rendyr" or "we") is committed to the satisfaction of our customers. We extend this Limited Hardware Warranty to the original purchaser of our hardware products which include the OPTIC PORTABLE LASER CUTTER, EXHAUST MODULE, EXPANSION KIT, and ROTARY MODULE (collectively, "Product" or "Products"). This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in the Products for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment ("Warranty Period"). COVERAGE IS PROVIDED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE.

II. Coverage Details

The Warranty period begins on the shipment date, marking the start date. It protects against manufacturing defects, including faulty materials and poor craftsmanship. However, it does not cover normal wear and tear, consumables depleted through normal use (e.g., filters, cutting mats, materials, and cleaning supplies), misuse beyond intended purposes as outlined in the product manual, accidental damage (including drops or liquid spills), abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes. Damages arising from the use of non-official or unauthorized third-party accessories or components are also not covered.

VOIDING CONDITIONS: Any modifications or alterations not authorized by Rendyr, including hardware, software, and firmware changes, or unauthorized repairs or service attempts, or removal or defacement of serial numbers, will void this warranty.

III. Exclusions and Limitations

UNLESS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER PERSONAL INJURY OR INDIRECT DAMAGES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR OTHER INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCTS, HOWEVER CAUSED, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF RENDYR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. FURTHERMORE, RENDYR IS NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS RELATING TO THE PRODUCT'S USE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGES CAUSED BY ACCIDENT, ABUSE, MISUSE, OR EXTERNAL CAUSES; DAMAGES CAUSED BY SERVICE NOT PERFORMED BY RENDYR; OR PRODUCTS MODIFIED WITHOUT RENDYR'S WRITTEN PERMISSION. Service and support are restricted to the country, excluding its territories, of the original purchase.

IV. Troubleshooting and Support Before Warranty Service

Before proceeding with a warranty claim, customers are encouraged to utilize our online resources, including manuals, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides, available on our website. For further assistance, contact our customer support team at hello@rendyr.com. Initial troubleshooting may resolve issues without needing warranty service.

V. Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, contact Rendyr at warranty@rendyr.com with detailed documentation of the defect and proof of purchase. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number is required before shipping products for a warranty claim. The RMA number will be used to trace the Product through the warranty/return process. Products must be returned in their original packaging, or as specified by Rendyr, to ensure their safety during transit. The manufacturer, at its discretion, may opt for repair, replacement, or refund. Rendyr covers all shipping costs associated with a valid warranty claim. This includes providing a prepaid shipping label for you to return the defective item(s), and covering the shipping costs for sending out a replacement or returning the repaired item.

VI. Warranty Service Options

Repairs may use new or refurbished parts to restore product functionality. Replacement products may also be new or refurbished, matching or exceeding the original product's performance, and matching or exceeding the defect product's cosmetic condition. Refunds are considered if repair or replacement is not feasible. In certain situations, Rendyr may provide drop-in replacement parts for customers to install themselves. These parts are designed to ensure a straightforward and efficient replacement process, allowing for quick and easy installation without the need for professional assistance. Detailed instructions will be provided, ensuring that customers can confidently carry out the replacement. Depending on the specific case, Rendyr may require the return of the original defective part.


VII. Additional Terms

Service limitations may apply based on geographic location and parts availability. If applicable, any data stored on the device may be deleted or formatted in accordance with privacy policies. As part of the process for providing drop-in replacement parts, Rendyr may request a credit card authorization. This serves as a security measure for the retail value of the replacement item(s), as well as any applicable shipping costs, ensuring the return of the original defective part. Upon successful receipt of the defective part, Rendyr will cancel the credit card authorization, effectively releasing any holds on funds. However, if the customer fails to return the defective item(s) as instructed, and within the specified timeframe, Rendyr reserves the right to charge the credit card for the authorized amount. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and maintain the efficiency of our replacement parts program, enabling us to continue offering this convenience to our valued customers.

VIII. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (IN THE UNITED STATES) OR COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. IF LOCAL LAWS MODIFY OR PROVIDE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS, THOSE RIGHTS WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THIS WARRANTY. RENDYR'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR HARDWARE DEFECTS IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE AS DETERMINED BY RENDYR IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.

IX. Final Provisions

If any portion of this warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall remain in effect. Rendyr reserves the right to amend or update these warranty terms, and will communicate any significant changes to its customers.
