Easy to Use!

Love the Optic. Purchased as a Kickstarter, I have never used a Laser Cutter but program was super easy to start playing with if you follow the videos. This was my first solo attempt and it went really well!

The service team is great!!

Admittedly, I tend to break things. I like to think that I push things to their limits, but sometimes (most times) it's just me doing the wrong thing. By not reading the clear instructions on the materials and following the "how to" videos, you guessed it, I broke my optic. I reached out to the service team to troubleshoot and they were very understanding and allowed me to ship it back to them to fix my oops. These guys were great to chat with, they were very fast and they understood that sometimes hobbyists have their own personal challenge. ;) I will say my very first attempt at using optic (back when I watched the tutorials) turned out great. Excellent hardware and support

I purchased the optic primarily because it looked like a beautifully well-thought design and I wasn't wrong. It folds into an absolutely elegant package when not in use and sets up quick and easy. This is my first laser cutter/engraver so it took an hour or two to get it figured out but the YouTube tutorials were perfectly clear. Now it's a brilliant tool I've started using in client projects that looks good in use and when wrapped up to take up less space. One of my main concerns when purchasing was support, but that has also been an incredible experience - I ran into an issue where I manually pushed material tolerances too far and not only did Rendyr respond quickly, they tested my project and gave me details on what went wrong and what the fix is within 12 hours. If you're looking for a laser cutter / engraver I can highly recommend this one.

Built-in filtration

I use the Optic in a fully enclosed basement. After cutting wood and paper for hours I have never smelled any smoke. Being able to run a laser indoors without ventilation has been a game changer
